If the term “CEO” conjures images of old white men with flaccid faces and stiff suits, you’re not alone.
Women tend to avoid the term either because of that…or because they don’t feel “qualified” or desirous of being in that world.
And yet, the archetypal energy of the CEO responds to its environment. Not all CEOs are stiff and buttoned up. But what they do have in common is this: They own and claim their position of authority within the organization that they lead.
They are leaders. They are organizers. They create and hold the structural integrity of their company.
To be able to do this, they own their masculine energy and assert it. As you know, some do that well and some are amazing leaders. Others…not so much.
As a woman, claiming this type of energy goes against just about everything you’ve been taught. When women create their own companies they often lack the capacity, desire and will to step into the energy that is needed to hold it together and grow it.
Not only that, but women truly are different from men. Our biology, hormones and cycles are different, our energy flows in a distinct manner. Showing up in the same way is counter-intuitive in some cases.
So how can you hold the archetypal energy of CEO while making it your own?
I’m reminded of the Emperor and Empress cards in the tarot. Both archetypes in their empowered aspects hold structure and energy, though they differ in how they do that.
The Emperor is like the benevolent male CEO and the Empress is connected to Nature, Gaia, the Cosmos. She holds Mother energy and is loving and nurturing.
For women in the business of magic, healing and transformation, it can be valuable to activate both of these archetypal energies. That may require some healing or reprogramming as the dark/wounded sides of both of these archetypes are strong in the world today.
When you are able to step into the empowered energies of both the Emperor and the Empress, you activate the energy of the Cyclical CEO.
The Cyclical CEO, like the Empress, is connected to the cycles of the moon, the cosmos and the earth. She is loving and compassionate. And she’s accessed her internal masculine so that she can create and hold the foundation and structure of masculine power, organization and growth.
She is balanced. She is connected to Source. She creates with her environment and holds it together through conscious and intentional structure.
When we create, we go into deep communion with Nature. We connect with Gaia. We channel and pay attention to the messages from animal spirits, goddesses and our guides.
We allow our inner Wild Woman archetype to express herself as well. Our business reflects the untamed aspects of ourselves because that is our essence. At our core, the Wild Women within us hold the keys and codes of our medicine – untamed, alive, vibrant and unfiltered.
So, we show up as our true unadulterated selves. And we let her rest within the arms of the masculine.
We lay all that we downloaded into a structure that can hold it. This is how she works with the safety the Emperor archetype provides.
We continue to do this – download and create with Gaia, load it into structure.
Through it all, we pay attention to our bodies and our energy levels. We create programs and content in a way that best supports the rhythms and cycles of our bodies as we move through the seasons and moon phases.
The Cyclical CEO is driven, yet soft. Focused and action-oriented, yet flexible and receptive. She listens and she pivots. She establishes and protects.
Mostly, she knows that for sustainability in her sacred business, she attunes to her body, her environment and her people. She’s moving away from hustle and settling into structured flow.
She usually comes to this because she’s been experiencing burnout, frustration and resentment in her business. She’s tried the distorted masculine model and found herself feeling depleted.
The Cyclical CEO is the antidote to the current hustle model that allows you to grow and create without the burnout.
Does this resonate with you?
Have you been creating from the masculine model?

Thank you so much, this is what feels so aligned with what I have been wanting to create, but never really understood. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You are so welcome! 💗
This is absolutely everything! I am a pleasure professional and learning to prioritize my pleasure and play and how to accept and not rebel against sacred masculine structure has been THE most challenging journey and also immensely healing, making business accessible for me as a woman and as a person on the autism spectrum.
Love this! Thank you!
I love the idea & way of structured flow.
